Cirencester College students have much to celebrate today after collecting their A-level, vocational and T-level results this morning, with top grades across the board.
So far, an incredible 460 students have secured their first choice at university.
Among the many success stories is Harry, formerly of Kingshill School, who achieved two A*s and a B in his A-levels. He is now heading to the University of Warwick to study Accounting and Finance.
Evie, formerly of Cirencester Deer Park School, gained a place at the University of Reading for Museum Studies with Archaeology after achieving two As and a B in her A-levels. “I am very pleased about my results, and glad I am able to go to university”, said Evie, “The highlight of my time at Cirencester College is the lasting friendships I made.”
Former Bournside student, Maisie, joins many other Cirencester College students celebrating fantastic vocational grades. She will be going to the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts to study Sound Technology after gaining top grades in Digital Music Production, Music Performance, and Criminology.
It was another year of exceptional T-level grades, with the third cohort of students receiving their results. Cirencester College was one of the first institutions to pioneer T-level qualifications and today celebrates 27 students achieving top grades.
Ewan gained a place at the University of Exeter after achieving a distinction in T-level Engineering and a B in A-level Maths. An excited and relieved Ewan said “I feel proud of my accomplishments and happy that I got into a good university. All of the practical projects in Engineering were lots of fun.”
Also among the T-level success stories is Ella, who gained the top grade of a Distinction* in Education and Childcare. “I am ecstatic!”, said Ella, “Words cannot explain how I feel. I thoroughly enjoyed my course, and it has given me a true insight of what I want to do in the future.”
College Principal, Matt Reynolds, said “We are absolutely delighted with our results this year. I’d like to offer a huge congratulations to all of our learners who have done so well, and also well-deserved thanks to our brilliant staff who have helped them get there. I am really proud that this year’s students have done so well. Our Grammar cohort have done exceptionally well this year, our T-level students have been particularly strong, and there was impressive vocational achievement across the board.”
