Development at Cirencester College continues to flourish with the announcement of the successful funding bid for a new Student Wellbeing Hub.
The £3.5m development will be partially funded through a £2.8m grant from the Department for Education’s Post-16 Capacity Fund, which the College have secured to accommodate increased student numbers. The three-storey building will provide three large classrooms, a new home for our pastoral care team, and an expansion to dining, study and social space for the students. It is scheduled to be completed in the Autumn of 2024.
This development follows the opening this year of the College’s £5m specialist T-level Centre, the new Art Loft which will be completed in September and the opening of the Gloucestershire Digital Skills Centre in 2022. This new development forms part of the innovative design work of architects Roberts Limbrick, who have played a major part in the redesign of the campus and the transformation of the front of the College.
