Congratulations to Year 2 student Koray, who has recently been offered a degree apprenticeship in Regulated Financial Planning at St James’ Place Wealth Management in Cirencester.

Koray is currently studying Economics, Business and Financial Studies, and has always wanted to work in the Finance sector, and hopes to become a Financial Planner or Advisor.

Once Koray has completed his exams, he will begin his three-year course, working in the Business Development and Advice Team at St James’ Place Wealth Management. A one-year apprenticeship will be followed by two years of training.

Koray said “I was thrilled when I found out I got the apprenticeship, SJP has a really good background and I thought it would be such a useful qualification. I am looking forward to working in the professional environment and I am confident that this will help me go far.”

One of Koray’s lecturers, Stephen Miles, said “Koray has performed very well on the Financial Studies course and has always demonstrated a keen interest in financial services. The apprenticeship is a golden opportunity for him to develop his abilities in this area and I am confident he will be a great asset to any future employer”

Cirencester College is pleased to be running a new T-level in Finance, and September 2022 saw the first cohort of students begin this gold-standard qualification. You can find out more about T-level Finance here
