Congratulations to the Cirencester College Netball Development Squad who have been crowned champions of the Association of Colleges West Midlands Netball League 3.

All of the hard work shown by the squad during training led to consistently strong performances in their competitive matches. Across the season, they gained 13 wins and only faced one loss, which earned them the coveted position at the top of the league table.

Head netball Coach, Freya Killick, said “I am incredibly proud of the team. Their dedication and commitment every week has paid off throughout the season. It has been an absolute honour to train every single one of them. They have grown so much and made amazing bonds with their teammates, and this only aided their ability to perform outstandingly well. They have certainly done the College proud this year, and I can only hope it continues.”

Year 1 student, Ella H, said “My favourite thing about the netball team is the people I’ve met and our coach. Everyone has been so welcoming, and I feel like I gained a support network as soon as I joined. A highlight of the season for me was definitely the game we won 75-9!”

Congratulations to all members of the netball squad who have been instrumental in representing Cirencester College this year. You should all be very proud of yourselves and this fantastic achievement.
