Congratulations to Scott, a Year 2 Financial Studies student, who was awarded a £500 scholarship towards a programme of study at the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF).

This award comes as a result of Scott, who also studies A-levels in Accounting and Maths, achieving an A grade in his LIBF Financial Studies certificate.

Debi Howell, Financial Capability and Relationship Manager at the LIBF visited College to present Scott with his well-earned certificate. “Congratulations to Scott for an outstanding achievement in his Level 3 Financial Studies Certificate exams” said Debi, “He should be very proud of being awarded this significant recognition from LIBF. I wish him every success in the future.”

Stephen Miles, Scott’s Financial Studies lecturer, said “Scott has worked really hard, and it is quite right that his efforts are awarded. This is a great achievement which will prepare him well for a career in financial services.”
