Recently, students studying A-levels in Graphics, Media and Film Studies had the opportunity to take an educational trip to Budapest and visit many of the amazing museums and galleries it has to offer.

Graphics lecturer, Will Chapman, said “Budapest is split by the Danube river, and it’s scenic beauty is only matched by its artistic catalogue of museums and galleries. We visited the majestic National Gallery nestled on top of the Buda castle district, overlooking the entirety of the city; it gave us fairy-tale views and sunsets like no other.

We had the humble pleasure of a tour around the House of Terror, where the occupation by both communist and Nazi forces shaped much of their recent history. All in addition to wonderful sites, food, music, travel and social revelry.

It was an immense experience shared by many of the most talented, interesting and innovative young people the world has to offer.”
