Upgrade
Students taking the Upgrade Vocational Course will require a minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade 2, which must include Maths and English Language.
Foundation Year for T-Level A-Level Progression Programme
Foundation Year for T-Level
Students on the Foundation Year for T-Level will have gained 3 or more GCSEs at Grade 3 or above including English Language and Maths.
A-Level Progression Programme
A-level Progression Programme (APP) is for students who have just missed the entry requirements for a full A-level programme and may need to improve their GCSE grades in English Language and Maths to at least a Grade 4, to progress to their chosen subject or career aim.

Students are required to gain at least five GCSEs at Grade 4, from the core subjects. This must include English Language and Maths GCSE*.
T-Levels & Level 3 Vocational Courses
T-Levels
Students are required to gain at least five GCSEs at Grade 4, from the core subjects or Distinction at Level 2. These must include English Language and Maths GCSE*.
Level 3 Vocational Course
Students are required to gain at least five GCSEs at Grade 4s or Distinction at Level 2, these must include English Language and Maths*.
* Some A-level and T-level courses require a higher grade in specific subjects (please see individual course pages for these). Unfortunately, students will not be allowed onto Level 3 courses without a Grade 4 or above in English Language and Maths.
